Trail Rides All in Leavenworth, WA

Freund Loop: 8.5mi/1,500ft vertical/ smooth non-technical single track

Round Mountain: Experience the beauty of the Wenatchee Lake area on this high mountain ride. Upper trailhead is accessed via FS#6910 next to rest area on Hwy 2. Lower TH is by Kahler Glen golf course next to Lake Wenatchee SP. 1,500ft push up to a rewarding 4,300ft descent in 9 miles of pure swooping single track.

Icicle Ridge: Best views of Leavenworth anywhere! Directly accessed from Leavenworth, push your limits to see how far up the ridge you can make it, or simply take it easy and turn back to town when you've had your fill. You can bag over a mile of vertical as a there-back. TH on Icicle Rd 1.5 miles from Hwy 2 junction.

Rosy Boa: Most likely named by the misidentification of a Rubber Boa. This steep single track snakes back and forth over the ridge behind Ski Hill. Access from Ranger Rd or Freund Canyon (1,400ft descent).

Ribbed: The infamous user-built trail that instigated the formation of TRAIL, WA. This ribbed ridge ride is still fun and is soon to be incorporated into the FS trail numbered system as part of the Ski Hill trail project. Ridge is between Freund uphill and downhill (trail runs due east from Freund summit).

Tronson Ridge: A 4,200ft descent with amazing views of Mt. Stuart and Mt. Rainier. Shuttle from Hwy 97 to Haney Meadows. Follow Tronson Ridge to Red Hill to Sand Creek. Promise that's the optimal route ;).

Old Blewett Pass Rd: Great cardio workout without the hassle of vehicle traffic. This paved road is narrow and windy enough to make it feel like single track when going 50mph! (2,300ft vertical and 7.5 miles)

Rock Mountain: An Epic! 12 miles; 5,700ft climb; 7,300ft descent. Start just east of Stevens Pass. North on Smithbrook (NF#6700). Start at saddle and head due east. Enjoy the high alpine, cirque bowls, blueberries, bears and all. Also, get plenty of chuckles from our fellow trail users who "think" you're violating wilderness, cause you're not, but it sure seems like you are!

Mission Ridge: A bit further east. Access lower trailhead from Cashmere (Mission Crk Rd to NF-7100) or upper TH from Wenatchee (Beehive Rd NF-9712). This trail is superior to the more popular Devil's Gulch trail that lies below. 3 options: ride loop up Devil's Gulch and down Mission Ridge, ride loop up NF-7100 connect with NF-9712 and down Mission Ridge, or simply car shuttle from NF-9712!
