Join TRAIL Washington on our best club ride of the year! Huck's Super Natural is just what the name implies: A classic mountain bike ride in a natural setting followed by a catered dinner, awesome live music, and camping. Enjoy the amenities of our secret hangout on the Wenatchee River including showers, bathrooms, picnic area, sand volleyball court and horseshoe pits. Or just throw yourself in the river for a cool down then hangout around the fire-pit...
This ride encompasses the best of what Eastside Cascade riding has to offer. Comprised of a mix of different Forest Service access roads and multiple single track trails, you'll be exposed to the most amazing views of Mt. Rainier, Mt. Stuart, the full Enchantment Range plus the Wentachee Mountains and Entiat Ridge. The trail is a combination of fast rolling bermed packed dirt, rocky technical descents, and some rowdy loose sand sections (unavoidably quintessential eastside). From the shuttle drop-off we'll pedal on a Forest Service Rd out to the ridge where you'll enjoy the upper high country meadows with some old growth Lodgepole and White Pine. The ride out following the single track section is through beautiful orchards and ends exactly where the party begins: Huck's Hideout.
Some Technical Notes: This is a gravity "assisted" technical cross-country ride. We've designed the run to incorporate the best of both mountain bike worlds so that there is plenty of pedaling in addition to the over 5,000ft of vertical downhill we get to enjoy -bonus! There are a few hike-a-bike sections so be prepared with lots of water and snacks for the trail -it's over 24 miles in length... Any type of bike will work for this ride but a good 4-6" trail bike is probably best suited.
