Trail Rights Association in Leavenworth Washington

Are we the stereotypical "radical-extreme" mountain bikers who are commonly exploited by the media? You decide...

TRAIL Washington is composed of members from all walks of life, across all skill levels of mountain biking -who, when not mountain biking, are employed in various jobs ranging from customer and public service to trades to professions. TRAIL Washington members are on the same mission... to design, build, and maintain both mulituse and mountain bike specific trails for all skill levels.

Everyone in our group shares this single vision and has agreed to take the necessary steps to ensure success. Steps that include: putting down the bike and picking up the pen to lobby our position, grabbing a shovel to create a trail, or even enter into fair compromises with other forest users in respect of their own outdoor pursuit.

If you think you might share this vision then please join our effort in lobbying for more mountain bike trails in the Leavenworth area -recalling the ultimate end goal of riding mountain terrain that is suitable for ALL skill levels. We believe that Leavenworth has unrealized potential, and with the proper steps, an oppotunity exists to set new standards of acceptance for mountain biking. For TRAIL to be successful we are going to need many members, not only for trail design and maintenance, but also to prove to the regulatory agencies and land managers that we mean business! It doesn't matter where you’re from, or how many times a year you actually visit Leavenworth. Any support you can offer is appreciated. Thank-you again for reading, and always remember no matter what happens...ENJOY THE RIDE.
