2009 Freund Canyon Trail Work Complete!
On May 20th, 27th, and 31st TRAIL WA members provided our local Forest Service agency with over 100 hours of trail maintenance. River crossings were cleaned up and the trail was brushed throughout. We also did some awesome tread work on the upper portion of the downhill. What used to be a "too-fast-straight-shot" between the two upper creek crossings is now a meandering set of curvy-banked-turns. Thank you TRAIL volunteers and Munchen Haus!

TRAIL partners w/ USFS for trail maintenance on Freund Canyon Trail. TRAIL provided over 150 volunteer hours in the month of May. TRAIL is working hard to develop positive relationships with land managers in our area. TRAIL has received a resolution of support from the Leavenworth City Council, TRAIL is a member of the Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce and has joined w/ other outdoor associations in a colloborative effort to ensure the success of recreation in the Leavenworth area.
